Register to vote

Register to vote, change your name, or change your address using the Virginia Voter Registration Application Form. Mail your completed registration form to your local voter registration office (listed on page 2 of the form). The deadline to register is Monday, October 5th.

Check your registration status using Virginia's Election and Registration Information System.

When to vote

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd. Polls are open from 6 am to 7 pm in Virginia.

Where to vote

Find your polling place using Virginia's polling place search.

Vote absentee

If you can't make it to the polls on election day, you can request an Absentee Ballot Application and mail it to your local voter registration office. The application must be received by the local voter registration office by the Tuesday, October 27th.
